BELGRADE- THE GATEWAY TO THE BALKANS

Belgrade is the capital of Serbia, also known as the Gateway to the Balkans is surrounded on three sides by Danube and Sava Rivers. This makes it the only capital situated on two international rivers. Even if it is not on most travelers' bucket lists, Serbia is the perfect place that combines cultures with history, nightlife, and gastronomy. Since the NATO bombing in 1999, Serbia is still trying to recover from the war. For the event to not be forgotten, the NATO-bombed buildings are still visible in Belgrade.
